What causes Anorexia                       What are the symptoms

We do not know what causes Anorexia. Some believe its phycological problems like having a  low self esteem, others believe that it may be because of other diseases, another cause may be because of a recent change in something, this can include a death in the family, depression, puberty, etc. Either way the person with anorexia believes he/she is fat even though in reality is very skinny. The cause of anorexia is uncertain.

  • Extreme Weight loss
  • Intentional Vomiting
  • Rejecting food
  • Denying hunger
  • Exercising too much
  • Low Self Esteem
  • Other diseases

Only 1% of women have anorexia, and even less for men
